Following the incident in Syria, the rogue American General known as Williams secured control of the Arcadia Array, an orbital weapons platform capable of striking targets across Asia. Corporate authorised an infiltration of Mongolia to locate the infrastructure supporting the Array and either destroy or overload the system.
A recent mining survey also identified rare mineral deposits throughout the region. Three major armed factions are active: the Khan Restoration Front, which seeks to restore a Mongolian empire and fields Russian vehicles and heavy infantry; the Sukhbaatar Liberation Front, a guerrilla movement opposed to foreign influence and the KRF; and the People's Liberation Army, which has entered the region with armour and air support. ORION forces must account for all three while pursuing the Arcadia objective.
Initial reconnaissance has identified an airfield beyond the KRF defensive line. The position is required to support further operations against the Arcadia Array.
Break through KRF lines and secure the airfield. Expect anti-tank weapons, anti-aircraft systems and heavy machine-gun positions. Once the airfield is controlled, construct defences and prepare it for continued ORION use.
